KindMind began with a simple but radical belief: businesses and institutions can be braver. They can guide people not just to work or consume, but to flourish - to live with health and wellbeing, to build prosperity that uplifts many, to grow in wisdom and understanding, and to find lasting purpose and meaning.

Rooted in the Philippines and shaped by culture and community, we saw how invisible systems quietly define our lives, how decisions are made, how resources flow, how people connect. Too often, these systems are designed in silos, reacting to the short term instead of shaping the long view.

Through our approach, Braver Business by Design, we help organizations reframe and redesign these systems to be just, regenerative, and responsive. We stay with the work, not just start it. We design for trust as much as outcomes. We weave structure with softness, courage with care.

Abi Mapua
Social Designer, Managing Partner, Co-Founder

Abi leads KindMind and partners with Kaospilot in Experience Design. A 2017 Fellow at the UnSchool of Disruptive Design, she grounds futures thinking in people’s values through regenerative and systems design. She is also the Founding Director of HIFI and former Country Director of Ashoka Philippines.

Mark Meily
Film Producer, Educator, 
Co-Founder

Mark is an award-winning producer and media entrepreneur whose films and campaigns have earned international recognition. A French Government Scholar at ESEC in Paris, he now teaches filmmaking, content marketing, and design across Asia.

Marielle Santos
Leadership Coach, Learning Experience Designer

Marielle combines expertise in talent management, operations, and business transformation with a passion for learning design. With a background in the restaurant industry, she now focuses on coaching and helping people realize their full potential through change and growth.

AJ Javier
Space and Urban Designer, Experience Designer

AJ is the founder and principal of Javier Design Studio Manila (JDSM), known for transformational and human-centered design across architecture and interiors. A UP graduate with honors, he has led projects featured in major publications and co-founded the architecture program at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where he continues to shape design education and innovation.

Kristine Bunda
Communications and Conservation Strategist

Kristine bridges communications and conservation, helping organizations design strategies that drive social and environmental impact. She has worked in sustainability partnerships and communications consultancies, including UNCDF/UNDP and supports local watershed and marine conservation initiatives.

Ara Vergara
Social Media and Communications Specialist

Ara is an experienced senior manager with a background in digital marketing and advertising. She is skilled in digital and social strategy, content creation, copywriting, design, photography, video production, and analytics, and holds a degree in Organizational Communication from De La Salle University.

Daniel Estropia
Digital Experience & Product Designer, Strategist

Daniel works at the intersection of design, systems, and behavior for social impact. He has co-designed with behavioral scientists at The Decision Lab on health and education, and at KindMind he designs for civic and environmental experiences and interventions. Trained at d.MBA and Kaospilot, and builds on roots in communications design.
