how might we re-imagine declining neighborhood commons as thriving, healthy, connective community spaces for all?
the solution
using kindmind’s place-making toolkit, we engaged 50 participants from diverse fields to an xd sprint where they identified neighborhood personas and ideated around ideal common spaces and activities.
the outcome
six unique , holistic place-making narratives brimming with ideas on use of space & community activities. this sampler workshop demonstrated how experience design can be a powerful tool for imagining solutions.
